Colombia, Jose Ever Muñoz - Copa de Oro Competition Winner

Jose, owner of La Esperanza in Suaza’s Bajo Horizonte, has been producing coffee for over 25 years. His Pink Bourbon variety, alongside Catuai and Colombia, showcases his dedication to quality. Jose first ferments the coffee in whole cherry before washing and drying on raised beds. Despite his farm’s lower elevation of 1,600 masl, his precision and care stand out. This commitment earned him yet another accolade in the Copa de Oro, winning first place in the Central Region and fourth place overall in competition, a recognition of both his skill and the excellence of his process.
