The New Murarandia Farmers Co-operative Society runs two washing stations, including the Gatuya Coffee Factory, serving around 3,500 smallholder producers. These farmers each own approximately 1/5th to 1/3rd of a hectare and supply their coffee cherries to the factory for processing. This is the second time we have bought coffee from this Co-operative.
