Luis Aníbal Calderón, a third-generation coffee grower from Huila, began working on his father’s farm at age nine. Today, he is one of the region’s most respected producers, known for experimenting with new approaches to coffee cultivation. Luis is passionate about rare and exotic varieties, carefully curating and nurturing unique plants. His process is equally meticulous: ripe cherries are handpicked, carefully sorted, and placed in anaerobic fermentation tanks for six days. After fermentation, the beans are floated, sorted again, and then dried on patios, ensuring exceptional flavour and quality in every cup.
