Our import partner Osito has been working hard in recent years to build a presence in Mexico hoping to not only find the best coffees in Chiapas, Oaxaca and Puebla, but to create opportunities for the farmers and communities.
Osito have bought for a number of years from Ozolotepec and in 2021 after tasting some really impressive coffees, they decided to double down and buy as much as they could get their hands on. The quality has been exceptionally high, but the community of producers there were significantly impacted by hurricane Agatha which tore through Southern Oaxaca in May 2022. Osito have carried out fundraising to help farmers with the rebuilding process.
