After receiving an inheritance from their parents, the couple purchased a 19-hectare property. Most of the farm consists of the native forest; it was for this reason that they decided to focus on coffee rather than growing other crops.
When Denivaldo and his family joined the COOPEAVI cooperative in 2008, they began to di s cover new possibilities for improving the quality of coffee production. Denivaldo even won one of the editions of the Coopeav i / Pronova contest in the conilon production. More recently , the family has enjoyed the benefits of high quality coffee production seeing higher and higher prices for their coffees.
