Donaldo is part of an association called SIPROCAFE in Amatenango, on the far southern border of Mexico, steps away from Huehuetenango, Guatemala. His farm is within the mountain range known as the Sierra Madre de Chiapas.
This lot is made up of Bourbon and the Mexican specific variety, Garnica. A cross between Mundo Novo and Caturra, the Garnica cultivar was developed by the Mexican Institute of Coffee (INMECAFE) in 1960. It is a high-yielding medium- size plant and with a similar cup profile to Catuai.
